What We Believe

Vision and Values

We are a community of followers of Christ who seek to glorify God, love people and serve the world.
We take seriously the words of Jesus, that the Greatest Commandment is to love God and our neighbor and that the Great Commission is to make disciples of all nations. Hence the mission statement GC²…. Great Commandment x Great Commission.

Mission: “Why do we exist?”
We exist to glorify God, to love people, and to make disciples of Christ in all nations

Vision:   ”What is our preferred future?”
To see ourselves and all nations transformed by God

The Neely’s Creek Vision is to see a revival in the hearts of God’s People so that we might once again be a guiding light to this great Nation in bringing millions to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, here and around the World

We Are Committed to Working Towards this Vision Through:

  • Preaching the uncompromised, inerrant Word of the Living God (2Timothy 4:2; 1Peter 1:25) through the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 4:8, 31)
  • Praising God in Spirit and in Truth through Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs (Colossans 3:16)
  • Communion with God through Baptism the Lord’s Supper and Corporate Prayer (Romans 6:4; John. 6:56; Matthew. 18:20)

Evangelism and Missions

  • Obedience to The Great Commission locally and around the World (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)through:
  • Direct local evangelism
  • Involvement in Short Term Missions efforts
  • Supporting Ministries and Missions that share our Vision
  • Broadcasting God’s Preached Word through the Internet, TV, Radio etc.
  • Praying individually and corporately for the Lost and our Missionaries efforts to reach them
  • Choosing to put God first, others second and ourselves third by following the Great Commandment of Jesus: To Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew. 22:34)
  • Praying together for one another (James 5:16)

  • Committing ourselves to take our cross and follow Christ above all else (Matthew 16:24)
    • Biblical teaching through Sunday School, Bible Studies, and special events (2Timothy 2:2)
    • Calling upon the Good Shepherd to help our Leaders shepherd our growing flock in a biblical and loving way that leads to their spiritual growth (John 21:16-17; 1Peter 4:1-4)
    • Living the example of following Christ and faithfulness to His Calling on our lives (1 Peter 5:3)
    • Praying for the Spiritual Growth of our Church and for a Spirit of Prayer to come into the hearts of our congregation (Ephesains 1:15-23, 3:14-21 and 6:18)
