What better way to follow up Reformation Day busyness, noise & celebration than to settle in together for worship on Sunday morning? That’s a given, right? I’m just stating the obvious like pastors do, right?
Well, thankfully we’re looking forward to having some extra busyness, noise and celebration return to accompany our worship this coming Sunday too! I thought I’d highlight some essential things for you here:
TIME: Remember that Daylight Savings Time ends at 2:00 a.m. Sunday!
ENTRANCE (One): For sanitizing purposes the deacons ask that we use the main entrance of the church to enter and exit the sanctuary. Offering plates will be located there.
SERVICES (Two): We will have our Contemporary Service at 8:30 a.m. and Traditional Service at 11:00 a.m.. Both services meet in the sanctuary.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH (One): Children’s Church will be available during the 8:30 a.m. service only. Children will leave the sanctuary and go to the gym at the appointed time.
NURSERY (Several): Nursery will be available during both services and Sunday School. There will be a new sign-in system so please arrive early. Please limit nursery interaction to parent(s) & nursery workers only.
SUNDAY SCHOOL (Many): Sunday School will begin for all ages starting at 10:00 a.m. (see “Time” above)
VOLUNTEERS (Lots!!): A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who have made yourselves selflessly available and without whom we couldn’t do ministry like this! If it wasn’t for COVID-19 we’d hug you.
Instead of hugs, there are hand sanitizing stations all over the place. Please use them, everyone. Masks are still highly recommended. Not the dress-up kind. The other kind.
Stay safe this Reformation Day and I look forward to worshiping together with you this coming Sunday morning!
